Wasserman White Family Law is proud to announce that seven of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized in the 2027 Maryland Super Lawyers and Rising Stars selections, including several who earned additional distinctions among Maryland’s top attorneys.
The 2027 honors recognize the professional accomplishments of five Maryland Super Lawyers and two Rising Stars, reflecting the depth of experience, leadership, and emerging talent across our Towson-based family law practice.

Additional Maryland Super Lawyers Honors
Wasserman White also proudly recognizes Susan Carol Elgin, Of Counsel, and Kumudha N. Kumarachandran for their selection to the 2027 Maryland Super Lawyers list.
Susan’s recognition marks more than two decades of Super Lawyers honors, reflecting her extensive experience in family law. Kumudha’s selection further highlights the breadth of legal talent and experience within the firm.
Celebrating Our 2027 Maryland Rising Stars
Steffani L. Langston and Virginia J. Yeoman have both been selected to the 2027 Maryland Rising Stars list.
The Rising Stars distinction recognizes attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less, based on professional achievement and peer recognition.
Their continued recognition represents the next generation of accomplished family law attorneys at Wasserman White.
What Does Super Lawyers Recognition Mean?
Super Lawyers is a nationally recognized rating service that identifies attorneys across more than 70 practice areas through a selection process involving independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
Each year, no more than 5% of attorneys in each state are selected to the Super Lawyers list, while no more than 2.5% are selected to Rising Stars.
These distinctions offer individuals seeking legal representation an additional resource when researching attorneys and evaluating their professional experience and recognition.
