Virginia Yeoman
Associate Attorney
Meet Virginia
Virginia’s practice focuses on divorce, custody, child support, protective orders, and contempt matters. Virginia is also a certified mediator and a strong believer that a comprehensive, thoughtful settlement agreement will last longer than a decision issued by a court.
Virginia works closely with her clients to achieve this, however, in cases where settlement is impracticable, Virginia is not afraid to litigate. Her attention to detail, work ethic, and dedication to her clients have her thoroughly prepared for the courtroom when the time comes.
Before entering private practice, Virginia had the privilege of clerking for the Honorable Paul J. Hanley in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. After her clerkship ended, Virginia worked as an associate attorney at a boutique firm in Baltimore City where she handled family law cases from start to finish. Virginia also worked on criminal and real estate matters, but quickly realized family law was where she wanted to concentrate. Family law allows Virginia to combine her innate empathy with her legal training, which she finds highly rewarding.
Virginia graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Cum Laude, in 2018. During law school, she interned for the Honorable Daniel A. Friedman in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. She also served as the Manuscripts Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Forum, participated in the Mediation for Families clinic, and was a teaching assistant for the law school’s first-year writing class.
Virginia has always enjoyed reading and writing, having attended New York University for her undergraduate degree in English and American Literature, with a minor in Creative Writing.
Virginia grew up in Towson and is happy to be back working in the area. She currently lives in Baltimore County with her husband, two children, dog, and cat. She enjoys trying out new restaurants, traveling, running, and playing the piano.

Third Time’s a Charm with Virginia
I had a great experience with Virginia. I first contacted her in regard to a divorce when I was at my wits-end. I had attempted to divorce my abusive (NOW!) ex-husband twice before on my own and both times I failed. It was just too much while I was juggling caring for my four kids. Hiring Virginia was truly the best thing I could have ever done.
The conversations were open, and I felt heard when I shared my situation and what I hoped the outcome to be. What I appreciated most was that she’d give me advice but made it clear the choice was ultimately my decision—I wasn’t just along for the ride. She explained the processes and kept me informed throughout the entire process and we ended up with the justice and judgment I deserved. Thank you, Virginia!
